About the Founders
Industry veterans Ken Burke and Sam Hogin have teamed up to create Elevate Commerce. Both Ken and Sam have been in the eCommerce industry from it’s inception in 1995 running one of the most successful eCommerce platforms ever created, MarketLive.
Ken is a founding member of the eCommerce industry starting MarketLive in Feburary of 1995. Under Ken’s
leadership, MarkeLive grew into on the of the leading eCommece platforms (ranked by both Gartner and Forrester). Ken has worked as a thought leader in the industry since the inception of eCommerce technology to bring new and innovative strategies to help retailers grow their online and offline businesses. Ken has published hundreds of articles in all the major industry publications, written countless whitepapers, and has been a feature presenter at eCommerce conferences for over 20 years communicating his growth strategies to retailers all over the world.
Sam has been developing eCommerce technologies for more than 20 years. Sam was the primary architect of the very successful MarketLive Commerce Platform. Sam is highly skilled in all aspects of technology development operating first as MarketLive’s VP of Engineering and then VP of Products responsible for the entire development buisness from ideation to final product. Sam has worked with thousands of retailers throughout his career and is considered an industry expert in online retailing.
